Korean Beef Marinade
This Korean beef marinade recipe is Juancho's own interpretation of the marinade used for the traditional Korean barbeque beef named "Bool Kogi".
At Hot Smoke BBQ we use this Korean marinade recipe to create great tasting beef satay and after we have marinated the beef, the remaining marinade is turned into a delicious satay sauce.
Korean Beef Marinade
Ingredients
For this Korean marinade recipe you will need the following ingredients:

| 1/4 cup |
| 3/4 cup |
| 1/3 cup |
| 1 tablespoon |
| Onion |
| Garlic |
| Fresh Ginger (about 1 inch thick) |
| Sugar |
| Soy Sauce |
| Sesame Oil |
| Chili Oil |
The above quantities will yield about 2 cups of marinade.
Preparation

Peel onion and garlic and chop into pieces; |

Peel ginger and cut across grain into 1/16 inch thick slices; |

Grind ginger, onion and garlic to a fine and smooth paste (this works best in a food processor or blender); |

Add the sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil and chili oil, mix thoroughly; |

Ready for use. |
