Soy Honey Glaze
This Soy Honey Glaze Recipe is intended for Chinese barbecue. After a few applications of this mop sauce your barbecue chicken or Cantonese pork will look nice and shining.
This Soy Honey mop sauce is especially suitable to complement the effect and taste of Cantonese Cha Siu marinade.

Ingredients
For this Soy Honey mop sauce recipe you will need the following ingredients:
| 4 tablespoons |
| 2 tablespoons |
| 2 tablespoons |
| Honey |
| Salted Soy Sauce (like "Kikkoman") |
| Chinese Rice Wine (or Sherry) |
The above quantities will yield about 1/2 cup of glazing sauce.
Preparation
This Oriental mopsauce is prepared in a jiffy!

Put honey in a bowl and heat in the microwave (like 20 seconds at 850, or 30 seconds at 600); |

Stir in the soy sauce and the rice wine until fully dissolved; |
- |
Your mopsauce is ready! |
Mopping
Once the skin of the meat on the grill has browned to the desired colour, start mopping this Soy Honey Glazing;
Apply in layers, allowing each layer to dry and bake in the heat of your barbecue for like ten to fifteen minutes;
Keep applying layers of glazing sauce until you like the result.
