Dark Oriental Glazing
This tasty oriental glazing recipe is based on the leftovers of the Dark Oriental Marinade and works out very well on pork or on veal spare ribs.
Oriental Dark Glazing Recipe
I use the following ingredients to make this dark oriental mop sauce to build a nice and shining layer on your barbecue meat.
½ cup
1 cup
Oriental Dark Marinade (boiled through)
Apple Syrup
The above quantities will yield 1.5 cups of oriental glazing, which should be enough to treat 6 - 8 pounds of meat.
Glazing Preparation
While stirring, cook the marinade in a saucepan until boiling.
Take off the heat and gradually stir in the apple syrup until fully dissolved and a smooth sauce has developed.
The PitMaster Suggests
This wonderful oriental dark glazing works out very well on pork or on veal spare ribs.
Glazed Oriental Veal Spare Ribs
These hot smoked and glazed Oriental Veal Ribs are spicey sweet and smokey.
Even if veal ribs are much leaner than pork ribs, and even if I cook them
until they "fall off the bone", these slow food ribs will still remain very juicy.
